The minute someone refers to vegetarianism or eating healthy, the usual reaction or natural assumption is that the food is unstimulating, lacks flavor and much less enjoyable than a juicy burger or a crispy piece of bacon. But who ever said being a vegetarian had to be boring?? “Turns out they were wrong”, vegetarians enjoy food in the same manner with anyone else, as not all meatless food is boring!
For the last six months as a vegetarian, I’ve enjoyed some of the best meals of my life.Besides getting an abundance of nutrient dense foods, increased daily energy levels, antioxidants, essential vitamins and minerals, consuming a vegetarian diet has also expanded my eating palate, as I am experimenting with foods that I would otherwise never eat as a non-vegetarian. Thus, allowing me to cook and enjoy gobs of new recipes!
